Stats not shown in your quotes from the wiki.įunnily enough, if you only base evaluation on the wiki, Mainz wouldn't be underpowered, but rather Nürnberg would be OP, because the Nürnberg guns if you don't take into account the floaty ballistics (which got fixed on Mainz) and the poor AP pen (also mostly fixed on Mainz) prevent it from just shredding things at T6 when played well. It also features really sharply differentiated shell drag - HE is uncommonly good on Yorck for a KM cruiser, and the AP punches hard but moves through the air like molasses - extremely powerful at close range (we're talking BB-like numbers), but basically impossible to hit with at >10km. It also has a decent armour scheme in regards to eating AP pens and not straight up cits, for a T8 cruiser.Įxcept it has more range, better ballistics, better AP penetration, better turret traverse and better turret protection. It will eat as much HE damage as any other T8 cruiser, but has more hp than most non-heal T8s. My first thought was going full concealment and secondaries (i know, meme build but its my favorite build for bismark and tirpitz).
